Custom-made Electric Motors for Volume Applications

Available in addition to the standard motors is a range of quality custom motors designed for higher volume production - usually with minimum batch runs of 5,000 pieces at a time. Motors can be designed to suit your needs with, for example, special shafts, armature Examples of custom-wound DC motors from Buhlerwindings optimised for particular speed and torque characteristics and connection looms.
Whenever possible, existing Buehler models are adapted and these are listed below.

Wiring looms & add-on components:

Example of DC motor, fitted with additional RFI componentsBancroft have a versatile factory assembly facility for the production of wiring looms to customer drawings/specifications. This can apply to motors/gearmotors supplied by us, or to other sub-assemblies of an electro-mechanical nature.

It is particularly useful as an aide to compliance with EMC approval, as tested sub-assemblies supplied by Bancroft will have a uniform RFI footprint and can include components such as chokes, suppression capacitors etc. to further reduce electrical noise. We are able to advise, but do not have a testing facility to solve EMC problems. Contact our sales department for further information.
